Overview
Are you a recent graduate with a commercial degree or diploma, eager to kickstart your career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? SGX Logistics invites you to join our Accounts Receivable team for an enriching work experience opportunity (12 months). This role is designed for individuals with a strong desire to learn and grow, contributing to the vital function of administering the collection of monies within the FMCG Trade.

Overall Objective of Job
As a valuable member of our Accounts Receivable team, your journey will involve hands-on experience, continuous learning, creative problem-solving, and innovative process improvement. Additionally, you will be at the forefront of leveraging technology to enhance efficiency within the Accounts Receivable function. All elements of the role will be covered within the 12 months of the work experience programme, with the end goal to better equip you for the world-of-work.

This position does not offer a salary but provides a monthly stipend of R4,700 to help cover living expenses.

Experience & Requirements

• Proficiency in Excel
• No prior experience is required

Qualifications

• A commercial degree or diploma

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include:

• Managing aspects of debtor accounts including
- Processing of claims
- Investigating and authorisation of claims
- Allocating remittances
- Reconciling debtor accounts
- Submitting statements
- Dealing with queries
• Liaising with Principals and stakeholders on an ongoing basis
