Hardware and Desktop Services Administration Work Experience

About the Role

The work experience role in Hardware and Desktop Services Administration (HDSA) reports to the HDSA Team Leader and is an opportunity to learn about administering the hardware and software acquisition processes. A key objective of this role is to ensure that administrative records are accurately maintained. Work experience will cover all elements of the role.

Experience & Requirements

• No prior work experience in an IT role
• Strong administrative skills, logical thinking and attention to detail
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Standardised approach to work and record keeping
• Respect for process
• Transport to and from the office (this is not a work-from-home role)

Qualifications

• 3 year Degree / Diploma

Responsibilities

Key learning areas will include:

• Maintaining software licensing
• Sourcing pricing from suppliers and creating sales quotes
• Maintaining supplier relationships and review of supplier performance and service levels to ensure we get “better, cheaper”
• Updating billing updates, complete audits, and answer queries
• Managing inventory of consumables stock and hardware assets
• Processing insurance claims as required, managing repairs as needed
• Adhering to established service levels for the Kwaden Group and its Principals
• Maintaining communication with stakeholders and effectively manage their expectations
• Keeping accurate records and ensure systems are up to date
• Backing up other HDSA functions: Cellular Admin and Supplier purchase orders
• Contributing to HDSA administration process improvements
