About the Role
To provide an outbound logistics service to the relevant stakeholders, including the operating of a Forklift to move goods and materials across narrow aisles.
Experience & Requirements
• 2 years experience operating a Forklift.
Qualifications
• Matric is sufficient for this role.
• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics advantageous.
• Forklift license required.
Responsibilities
1. Operating a Forklift in order to pick across all Principals for orders and long-haul (using WMS/picksheets).
2. Loading and offloading stock onto / off trucks as required.
3. Assisting in physical stock takes as required.
4. Ensuring stock rotation is completed to standard operating procedures (SOP).
5. Ensuring general housekeeping is completed to SOP.
6. Maintaining a Forklift i.e. topping water, washing and cleaning of machines.
7. Following and adhering to all Health and Safety rules and regulations.
8. Complying with Food Safety Requirements.
