About the Role
The Sales Support Administrator reports directly to the Operations Manager and is responsible for providing efficient, accurate, and proactive administrative support to the Process Sales operations and sales functions. The role supports the effective coordination of promoter and merchandiser activities, including scheduling, attendance tracking, stock administration, and general operational support, to ensure high service delivery standards to Process Sales principals and clients.
The incumbent will work closely with promoter and merchandiser teams and Process Sales leadership to ensure that all field employees are scheduled appropriately, deployed effectively, and adequately supported in their daily responsibilities. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, and a solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
Experience & Requirements
• No prior work experience is required; however, previous administrative or retail support experience will be advantageous.
• Computer savvy, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Good numerical ability and strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong customer service orientation with a professional and helpful approach.
• Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving ability and the capacity to work independently.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
• A National Senior Certificate (grade 12) or National Certificate Vocational.
• A tertiary qualification in administration is advantageous.
Responsibilities
Included but not limited to:
• Ensure promoter, merchandiser and third tier team members report to their scheduled stores and locations daily.
• Monitor and verify operational teams execution of tasks and provide accurate, documented feedback to Process Sales leadership and relevant principals.
• Assist with the coordination and communication of employee schedules, roster changes, and operational requirements.
• Escalate employee queries, concerns, or operational issues to the appropriate business leaders.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Operations Manager and broader Process Sales team.
• Compile and distribute operational reports as required.
• Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and operational documentation.
• Take ownership of ad hoc administrative and operational tasks as required by the Business.
